In the spirit of creating a bonspiel with a balance of local club members and out-of-town curlers, we will limit the number of local teams and out-of-town teams to 16 each. Excess registrations will be placed on a waiting list. An out-of-town team is defined as one that contains at least two curlers whose primary club is not the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club.
All registrations are subject to the approval of the registration officer.
You will receive an email once your spot in the bonspiel is confirmed. Once your spot has been confirmed, you may follow the instructions at the bottom of the page to provide payment. Please DO NOT pay until your spot has been confirmed.
Registration for out-of-town teams will open Friday, January 16th.
To obtain a team slot, we require that you provide us at least three names upon registering. If you are only providing three names at the time of registration, please indicate whether you are finding a fourth person yourselves or you would like our committee to find you a fourth in the notes section of the form that you can reach through the link provided below.
Out-of-town teams may also register by using the attachment on the second page of our flyer. The postmarked date will be used as the registration date and accompanying checks will not be cashed unless the team is confirmed to be in the bonspiel. An email will be sent when the attachment is received.
Out-of-town singles and doubles are welcome to register as well. These types of registrations will be combined as necessary to create new teams or fill openings in the roster as needed.
Payment deadline to hold an out-of-town team spot is Wednesday, April 1st. Teams having a spot in the bonspiel that do not pay by this date will automatically drop to the bottom of the waiting list. The first team on the waiting list will then have one week to claim the spot by making a full payment.
Registration for local teams will open up on Monday, February 2d at 8:00pm PST. Sign-ups from local teams prior to this time will be deleted.

SFBACC members are also welcome to register as either spares or singles. Upon the opening of registration, preference will be given to team registrations. Singles who are interested in playing the entire bonspiel will be placed in openings if available on a first come, first served basis. If the roster is completely full when registration for a single comes in, then that single will be placed on the spare list and be notified of an opening should it become available.
